“Extension is the best-kept secret out there.” That phrase is often used when folks describe what N.C. Cooperative Extension has to offer. While it seems very flattering, we want to share the “secret” with as many folks as we can!

Join your local Cooperative Extension staff for an Open House on Monday, March 16 from 6-8 p.m. Come experience all that Extension has to offer. You’ll be able to experience various youth-related projects through 4-H booths including hydroponics, camp experiences, horse skills, electric project and more. See what our Family and Consumer Sciences department has to offer through their interactive demonstrations on healthy foods, food preservation, Medicare education and more. Our agriculture program will dazzle you with information on planting, pruning, local crops, and other related displays. You’ll also get a preview of upcoming events for 2020 and may just walk away with a free registration for some upcoming classes!

While there is no fee to attend this floating event, please help us plan for your visit by registering at https://currituckopenhouse.eventbrite.com. We can’t wait to let you in on “the best-kept secret!” For accommodations for persons with disabilities, please contact the Currituck Extension Center at least ten days prior to event.
