The 17th edition of Southeastern U.S. Vegetable Crop Handbook is now published online. You can download it to your computer or mobile device.
The handbook includes helpful information on which variety to plant, planting dates, fertilizer recommendations, cover crops selection and conservation tillage options. Other topics include pesticide selection, fertigation, plasticulture, post-harvest handling, and alternative pest management tools. This handbook is a great resource. It is a joint effort among Extension Specialists and Researchers from 12 land-grant universities who work in the area of vegetable production.
